How it Works

• GoSearch integrates with PagerDuty using OAuth and PagerDuty API
• OAuth authorization will give GoSearch permissions to read incidents, on call schedules and escalation policies

Requirements

• PagerDuty integration requires that the connecting user is an admin in PagerDuty as well as an admin in GoSearch

Integration Walkthrough

In GoSearch

1. Ensure you’re an admin on PagerDuty and GoSearch before following the steps below
2. In the left navigation menu go to Data connectors
3. In the list of apps to connect, find PagerDuty and click Connect
4. In the browser window that opens, log into your PagerDuty account
5. You will then be asked to submit consent to access PagerDuty data
6. After confirming you will be redirected to the GoSearch Data connectors tab

How to Uninstall

In GoSearch

1. Ensure you’re an admin on GoSearch before following the steps below
2. In the left navigation menu go to Data Connectors
3. In the list of apps, find PagerDuty and click Disconnect
4. After confirming the choice, the tokens and indexed data will be removed
